Hello and welcome!
This newsletter will share the latest developments on football and climate change, and provide reflections on them. It will also bring together resources already out there. By building a greater understanding of the issues I hope it can help contribute to more and better action.
For a trial period, it will be bi-weekly. There will also be occasional extra posts if developments warrant them. The balance of content will be towards the game in England - as that is where I’m based - but the aim is to be open and global to all content.
To kick things off today I’ve published a ‘Resources’ page, also available in the navigation bar at the top of every page. It’s version 1 and will develop over time. You can also read about why I set up this newsletter on the ‘About’ page.
My interest here is very new compared to the many people doing excellent work on these issues. I hope I can bring a helpful set of eyes to things too. There will be many areas I will be learning as I go along, so please bear with any lack of understanding or mistakes … and all feedback is welcome!
