And The Wrong Trousers
As the new season kicks off it’s also time to go again with this newsletter.
When I put my pen down in March I didn’t expect to be returning here. Since then, I've had a long-ish and welcome time away from it to focus on some related, and some unrelated, things. And in the meantime there have been several developments on a range of the issues previously covered here. So it might seem a bit strange to bring it back.
But the itch to write it again never went away, and I haven’t been able to keep from reading, hearing, chatting and living the issues. Most of all, I’ve an inkling there are more contributions still to be made here which might just bring something different and useful to the table.
When I first started this newsletter a few years back, I didn't know clearly where I was going with it. My approach was a bit like Gromit’s during The Wrong Trousers when he’s on a moving train and lays out track in front of himself to keep the train going forward.

That approach seemed to work well enough for the newsletter last time, perhaps fortuitously. So, as I feel my way back into this thing, expect a similar approach to last time with some changes as we go along … though no capturing of penguins.
